SERATEC® THC Drug Screen Test is an immunochromatographic rapid test for the detection of the cannabinoid metabolite 11-nor-Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol-carboxylic acid. The active ingredient of cannabinoids is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is metabolized in the liver and is excreted with the urine predominantly as 11-nor-Δ9-THC-carboxylic acid, which has a half-life of 24 hours and can detected 1-5 days after consumption.
