SERATEC® MET Drug Screen Test is an immunochromatographic rapid test for the detection of Methamphetamine. After consumption, Methamphetamine is partially metabolized to amphetamine, its major active metabolite. Together with other deaminated and hydroxylated derivatives, both compounds are excreted with the urine. The fraction of unchanged methamphetamine is high (ca. 44% metahamphetamine, 6% amphetamine under normal conditions). Methamphetamine has a biological half-life of 15 to 30 hours and can be detected for 1 to 3 days in human urine after consumption.
